Acro

Acro Dance will focus on students' strength and flexibility. Dancers will perform conditioning exercises to prepare for increased difficulty. Acro is a style that combines the technique of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is very athletic and has unique choreography to incorporate gymnastic-like elements into dance. 


Hiphop

Hiphop will focus on teaching students the latest urban dance styles, using your own unique style and rhythm. Hiphop is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements. Through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking it has evolved into one of the most popular styles of dance. 


Contemporary

Contemporary will focus on the control, strength and release within our bodies focussing on the physical expression along with story telling. Contemporary is a genre that draws from other dance genres and allows you to move more freely. 


Tap

Tap dance is a unique form of dance that focuses on rhythm, sound, and movement. Tap dancers use their feet to create percussive sounds as they move across the floor, creating intricate footwork patterns and rhythms! Tap dancing is a very musical style of dance. Students will learn how to dance to the beat of the music. 


Jazz

Jazz is a high-energy and dynamic style of dance consisting of unique moves, big jumps, kicks and turns! The emphasis in Jazz is on strength and flexibility developed through technically challenging movements. Jazz dance is beyond fun and often performed to popular pop music. 


Ballet

Ballet will focus on teaching the foundational techniques and vocabulary of classical ballet. Ballet is the foundation and core of all dance styles. This classical form of dance will help develop posture, balance, coordination, alignment, grace, and strength.
