Brittany MacGibbon

Brittany is originally from Ontario, Canada where she received her training in all genres of the art. Brittany started competing at the age of 12, which led to having the opportunity to compete at World level in South Africa bringing home a Gold Medal! Brittany continued to follow her path into the dance industry and received a diploma from Centennial College’s Dance Performance Program, adding singing and acting to her knowledge. After post secondary Brittany had accomplished many achievements including training and performing with some of the best professional companies in the industry. Ex. ‘Mission Vision Purpose’ founded by Lianne Tammi. Brittany had the ability to expand her knowledge in Latin/Freestyle while gigging for Toronto’s biggest entertainment company, ‘TDC’. The year of 2022 Brittany had signed a professional contract with the Argonauts A-Team as a dancer/cheerleader, she went on to be a 2022 Grey Cup Champion. 

Having grown up a competitive dancer Brittany was able to complete her ADTA examinations, Acrobatic Arts, and studied the A.D.A.P.T syllabus under her mentor. Over the years she has developed a love for teaching and educating young dancers. Brittany has taught at multiple different studios in Ontario and even went abroad to the Cayman Islands to build their dance program. She is beyond excited to take the big step in opening Rise Dance Company sharing her knowledge with others, continuing to inspire, create, and challenge.
